Coming In For A Landing

There was lots of activity at the pond again today...a large flock of wigeons and lots of Canada Geese, and of course the blue heron made an appearance. But I liked this photo of the female mallard as she touched down on the pond.

I was just watching the Olympic coverage...and why in the world are they giving "Tanya Harding" more press? Enough already!!!!
