Yellow-rumped Warbler On A Wet Day
Pretty rainy today, although not as bad at where my husband is...on the boat in Roche Harbor in the SNOW! I am so so glad that I did not accompany him :)
I did find this cute little warbler during sprinkles....he was very happy that we had hung out the suet! Here is an interesting fact about him...
•The Yellow-rumped Warbler is the only warbler able to digest the waxes found in bayberries and wax myrtles. Its ability to use these fruits allows it to winter farther north than other warblers, sometimes as far north as Newfoundland.
