So this blip is dedicated to my Mum. Today is her birthday. This is the cake I made for her. It's a pretty normal sponge cake with a lemon curd and fresh cream filling and a chocolate ganache on top.

It's the cake that got us through the microadventure yesterday. The majority went home with mum, but I managed to siphon some away before it went. I needed it today, it's not been a great day. But as cake is happiness, I'm now feeling much better!
