ONE LONE VISITOR TODAY
For some reason this little wren has become one of my favorite birds – probably just because they’re so round with a perky, upright tail. I think this is a Carolina Wren. According to my bird book, we are at the upper most territory where wrens are found in the winter so I’m lucky to have this one visit now and then.
It was bitter cold today with strong winds making it seem even colder. There weren’t any little creatures around for pictures - at least when I had a chance to look. I didn’t want to be outdoors either!
