Spring vs. Winter

I was so certain spring is around the corner when I spotted the buds. Perhaps I spoke too soon.

I was in snow-denial for the past few days, mostly because nothing stuck to the ground. It wasn't until today did I start taking it more seriously, when I reckoned my car couldn't even make it up my own driveway this afternoon...
