Torridon from Gairloch

We had every intention of getting up Slioch this morning, but reports that there would be 80 mph winds kind of took the shine off that idea. Turns out the forecast was rubbish and we could have done it, albeit a bit wettter than we'd have wanted. So we went for a walk past Beinn Alligin and Liatach then off to a cracking wee tea shop in Kinlochewe (the one in the wee green building with the corrugated iron walls). Great scones and a wood burning stove. A quick look at the Gairloch Autumn Market than back to the hostel for a G&T.

Beth Wester Ross will recognise this view I should have popped in for a cuppa....
