Airborne at last

Here's a sight we didn't think we were going to see at one point this morning. For the first time in years we slept through our alarm - and woke up less than an hour before our flight was due to leave Edinburgh. Made it to the airport just 7 minutes after our gate shut. We had to buy an upgrade to get on the next flight and were warned that we still might not make our Bangkok connection and that our suitcases almost certainly wouldn't. We went for it anyway.
