White Temple, Chiang Rai

We finally made it to Bangkok and from there to Chiang Rai, en route to Laos. Just outside Chiang Rai we saw this amazing modern temple, Wat Rong Khun. We even met the artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, who started the project 10 year's ago. It's expected to take another 90 to complete - which has seen it dubbed the "Buddhist Sagrada Familia".
