Daffy

A morning of Pilates and lunch at the Penny Bank in Kirbymoorside made a good start to the day.

Couldn't find inspiration around Kirby so had a walk around Pickering. Noticed the Daffodils had made an appearance on the bank leading from Undercliffe to the castle. A sunny aspect has helped them on their way to flowering early. I think a trip to Farndale (famous for its daffodils) to enjoy the spring display will be on the cards in the not too distant future.

No doubt the Daffy cafe will be doing a roaring trade shortly - nothing like a cuppa half way round a walk.
