Deserted

Busy day. Opened the curtains to find the old cinema opposite is being dismantled in preparation for being replaced by two stone built properties which should be more in keeping with the rest of the surrounding properties.

Friend Steve then picked me up for a bike ride in Dalby. Lovely morning spent pedalling on some interesting trails although I did cop out of some of the more adventurous routes. Some lovely views and very mud splattered cyclists at the end of the ride! Avoiding the weekend meant we had no speedy youngsters wanting to whiz past.

Back in search of a quick blip before starting our orienteering club night. So this is a very quiet Pickering - just at the top of the market place around 1pm this afternoon.

Will have to catch up with journals tomorrow - having washed the muddy cycling kit!
