Most Docile Kitty

I'd remembered Geordi's cat from the last time I'd visited him in Amsterdam. He was cute, unimaginably soft and so docile he was almost pliable. Not very much had changed over the years, and TC and I made fast friends (but not best friends - he made his favourite clear, just like Cosmo).

My last day involved some walking too, this time around the top of Holmfirth. The views were impressive despite the gathering storm, and we did well not to get blown away entirely. I'd imagined the town as a sleepy village, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. The Tour de France is going to visit Holmfirth soon - I hope its proud residents' lives aren't too severely disrupted!
