Another day

Today I visited this building which is the new home for the local authority and the social services teams.

The purpose of the visit was to speak to the housing team about one of our tenants who needs to move. Long story short the lady needs to move into more appropriate housing for her needs, we have been liaising with Social Workers who we hoped would help her sort things out but nothing has happened.

The staggering thing is the social work team work in the same building, they even work on the same floor, in fact they sit at the next block of desks to the housing team but haven't even spoke to the housing team about her situation yet.

Great idea that they work in the same building now if only we can get them to talk to each other for some proper joined up working!

So we wait, yet again, to see if somebody will do something!

Anyway day rounded off with both daughters and grandson in for dinner - lovely
