King's Dock

A fine day for the walk with friends around Liverpool, which I have been planning for a month or so. This blip is near to our starting and finishing point. En route, we had fine views of both the Anglican Cathedral and its Catholic counterpart, as well as rooftops and doors.

I read that the Anglican Cathedral is the longest cathedral in the world. I asked a guide whether that is true. He said that St Peter's in the Vatican is longer and then added "but technically that isn't a cathedral."

And we gave in to temptation.

As soon as I have made some amendments and corrections,, and worked out how to post the directions on a website, I will make my guide to the walk available for downloading.
