A much better day today. Did loads of work in the afternoon and had a productive planning session after school which means I will have very little work to do over the weekend. Yippee!
In school we were learning about where food comes from - reading food labels and using atlases and maps. I was pretty shocked at how bad kids' general knowledge is...my kids couldn't tell me which continent certain countries were in. It's one of the skills that's very easily squeezed out unfortunately.
