Laguna beach

A looooong day. Soccer last night was good. We won 7-6 from 5-2 down and I got a couple goals. Keeps us off bottom of table.

Didn't get to bed until 1am after getting back from soccer at 11:30 and messing around with stuff. Up at 5:45am to beat the traffic up to laguna beach for our team business plans.

That started at 8am and continued through til near 6pm with a working lunch and a couple 10 min break for the toilet and to soak up view from the terrace overlooking laguna beach (blipped).

Learnt a ton of tips and tricks from all the reps in our team spread out from SD up to LA. Also met the companies life science director who was very interested to meet me and wants to include me in training in June for all the life science specialists. Excited about that prospect.

Had a nice dinner at the restaurant next door. Mexican seafood. I had pan roasted halibut. Others had the same and said it was very dry (including area manager - bosses boss) and it was $35 a plate. But free food is good food in my opinion so I wolfed it down (still in student mode).

Made it back home at 9:30pm to walk the dog and hot the sack. The wife is in Las Vegas again - keep telling her to stop gambling so much!
