"ZOOMING IN"

After 2 days of 50 degree weather the Heckscher Park pond has begun to thaw. The waterfowl appeared uneasy since there was not much water for them to swim in. What a surprise to see this swan "fly" from the middle of the icy pond to the water at the edge of the pond. I'd never seen a swan fly and took many shots trying to capture the event. However this one was the best showing the wake the swan created as he landed in the water.
