Hills of Gold

It is quite dark these days when I set out with the dogs first thing in the morning…. Not that good for photography on the move. The sun does not get over the hills to the east of the Taylor River and tracks until well after 7.am. But it is worth waiting for. I never tire of these hills in all sorts of weather and at all times of the day. At this time of the year when all the grasses on the hills have well and truly dried off they are truly golden soon after sunrise and again in the late evening… So here we have ….. “Hills of Gold.” If you look carefully in large you will see tiny sheep dotted over part of the slopes….
