.... Katie's response when I asked her to get up and get dressed this morning. "I want to stay in your nice warm bed and snuggle some more". So we did. We'd already been snuggled up, just chatting, for about an hour. I can see why she didnt want to move - we could hear the wind and rain!

She did eventually get up and decided it was a dungaree day. I love her dungaree days. She suits them so well. She had her hair all cute and 1950s, with the side parting, one side back off her face, her shirley temple curls. Then got on the bed and bounced. And bounced. And bounced.

We forgot Monkey yesterday on the way to nursery, as she was scooting. She'd been really upset about it when we arrived, and they said she got upset at lunchtime about it. So we made super super sure we had him today. I suggested we take one of the standby monkeys to be "Nursery Monkey" but she was not tolerant of that idea in the slightest. Best Monkey it has to be! She checked several times that we had him.
