My First Strawberry...

...of the season being fed to the remaining blackbird chick. It is was not impressed and kept spitting it out. Dad would nip a bit off and try again. This was repeated until at last a very small piece was swallowed. Dad then quickly cleaned up the rest himself and left the chick on it's own.

Gardening work is progressing nicely- such a relief.
