Wheels!

Thank you to all who gave me encouragement and good wishes yesterday. All those positive vibes were very effective. It couldn't have been easier.

The man from the garage picked me up in the car he had selected for me, and I drove it for the 50 minutes it took to get back to the garage. It was easy and comfortable to drive and I had no trouble making up my mind. The car is far from new, as you can see, but it was a reasonable price, and is a model noted for reliability. The garage will service it free for a year, including replacing the cam belt.

It is a bit bigger than my old car. The boot is much bigger. I will be able to do a lot more shopping. And look how fast it will go!


Just kidding on those last two things.
