Summat

Before she died my dear Mam wrote that we have to "Have a do. Summat for you all to focus on" (Summat is Cumbrian for something).

The summat is a charity race night in a couple of weeks on what would have been her birthday weekend.

When I was at The Langdale Hotel in the Lake District last week I told them about the summat and asked for a raffle prize.

Today I received summat fantastic through the post. I can't thank them enough.

So as well as the family having summat to focus on, we also have lots of raffle prizes too.

When people see the list of prizes they are bound to buy tickets because they could win summat. But if they don't win they will have done summat to help the charity.
