Storm over Reno

What an exhausting day! I spent all day painting! No, not artistic painting; painting the walls in my house. We are still having the house remodeled. But one of our workman was unable to come and finish the painting. So, J and I changed into our grubbiest clothes and went to work. We first had to prime the new drywall then lay on two coats of paint. I got to do all of the "tight" spaces, i.e. the closets, hallways, etc. J did the main rolling on of paint. Painting is definitely not our new calling, but we did a passable job. We still have more to do tomorrow - that is if we aren't too sore from today.

I did make it out today to take a few photos, despite the inclement weather. It was windy and cold, with clouds over the mountains. But I did catch the skyline just as the lights came on at the casinos.

It is supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow. But I am not complaining. It is snowing in the Sierras. We are all hoping for a "Sierra dump" - 3 to 6 feet in the high country.
