Doha Days

This is Majesty 101 moored at Doha's Pearl Resort. This very upmarket yacht has 7 cabins and 7 bathrooms and is available for charters - now that sounds like a very expensive day out! We walked the Pearl waterfront this afternoon before heading to the souk at sundown. Some of the luxury apartments on The Pearl are caught in the Majesty 101's mirrored stateroom window. It was a very pleasant 28 degrees by the water and we kept cool by sampling some very refreshing frozen yohurt.

Earlier, by the magic of ISDN technology I dialled London to be routed to Geneva in order to chair an important Conference Call from here. What would Alexander Graham Bell have had to say about that!

I am consumed with envy to hear that the Aurora Borealis came out to play last night in the UK and especially over the Scottish capital city's skyline. Hope some of you Blippers captured it !
