Weeeeee!

Surprising us all, the wee man wee'd twice in the potty today. Sitting comfortably, with a book as a distraction, he seems right at home. I've no idea how long this will last for but it's certainly starting well. Unbelievable really.

Grandma took him to Book Bugs at the local library this morning. There must have been 25+ parents, with all the chairs taken and people standing at the back. The wee man seemed to enjoy it but apparently it's not a patch on Happy Ears or Baby Signing.

It can't be easy on him but he's coping well without his mum. He cries out for her at feed and nap times but he's been remarkably resilient. There were real tears today when he realised she wasn't there today but thankfully they're few and far between. Poor boy.

His vocabulary has improved so much recently. His favourite words at the moment are car, cup, clock, keys, bus, book, back, up, hat, hair, off, Grandma and of course Mumumum.
