Moss

Small and beautifully formed, this clump of moss growing on a wall near the office.

Would never have spotted it except I ended up parking on the road this afternoon, so whilst there I had a quick look at the river which was recently very swollen. There was a lot of debris in the river and it was flowing fast but all looked as it should.

Also noticed lots of buds on the hedges and trees along the river, perhaps spring is really just around the corner.
