Kinloss Parish Church
Yesterday I posted my blip early as I have a choir practice in the evening. So on my return when I saw the Aurora Borealis I wasn't sure whether or not to delete yesterday's blip in favour of an Aurora blip. I decided as people had already commented I would keep the blip but I hope you might like to look at at the Aurora pictures I took last night
The present picture is of one of the local churches. Before the mid 17th century the congregation met in the chapter house of Kinloss Abbey (featured in a previous blip). Stones from the Abbey were used to build the first parish church in 1657. The present church was built in 1765. This is a view from a close at the back of the church.
