Shining brightly

Another beautiful Spring day today in Mintlaw. The effect of the many crocuses in my garden is quite magical, as they open wide in the sunshine. It's been a good day. A bit of work in the morning then a long lunch break at a local hostelry with my friend and former colleague Kate, then home to a wee bit more work, then a typical Friday relaxed evening at home with hubby! Another glorious clear starry night, but no sign of the aurora tonight. We caught a glimpse last night, but nothing as spectacular as some of the photos I've seen today, in particular the one from space showing a ring of fire around the globe. Amazing!!!
