Harking back

A day of driving around the South Lakes, hugely enjoyable even when queues at road works try your patience.

Away from the roads I found this view and, since I've been thinking of my 1950s-60s childhood a lot recently, I thought I'd try to recreate the feel of illustrations from picture books from back then. Lightroom obliged.
