Flying Squirrel...

Never ones to give up their quest for the gold, Team Squirrel is practicing for the summer AOG. I haven't the heart to tell them that Slopestyle Flying isn't a summer event...

I took a few fun shots of the starlings today, doing what starlings do...fighting and acting like bullies. They are sadly lacking in any sense of decorum ... but they are fun to watch. Yesterday, after I blipped, one of the hawks paid us a visit - and this time he was successful in scoring a hot meal. All that was left was a pile of grackle feathers. It shook things up a bit at the bistro since the hawk was having his meal right on the patio - but eventually he took his hawky-bag and flew off into the woods.

Much going on today, so will keep this short. Hoping the weekend is going well for you all. We are bracing for more snow starting tomorrow ...again.
