Blue Sky, Fluffy Clouds
Up and off early today to give presentation at conference. It went well. I didn't stay for the whole event - after all it was a Saturday and I wasn't working this past week - so I felt that I had done my bit and done it gladly but wanted to have a bit of the day left to myself. Suggested to the Mister that he come with me and that after I'd done my bit we could go for lunch somewhere - and that's what we did.
Came back a slightly different route to the way we went and as I had driven there he drove back. That allowed me to take this snap of the Forth Bridge from the Forth Road Bridge (which is 50 years old this year). Was also able to see a little bit of what they are doing on the new Forth Crossing - the Queensferry Crossing.
What a lovely spring-like day it was - blue sky and fluffy clouds with that hint of cold that made it so crisp and fresh.
As the Mister was driving back that meant I was able to enjoy a nice chilled glass of rose wine - well I deserved it after working on a Saturday morning (or so I told myself). Of course when we got home that also meant that I needed a snooze!
