Another day off

So last night Andre made me go to bed about 930 after being awake for something like 38 hours. The kids played up last night too, they could tell i was tired so they decided not to sleep but to be scampi, i fell to pieces, they weren't listening, every time i spoke i imagined all they heard was the chef from the muppets. I was saying 'lie down and go to sleep boys' they heard ' herdy durr flerpy derp durr' by the end of it i think i was actually talking this way from tiredness.

Andre took over and all 3 went to sleep. In that moment i couldn't have been more grateful to him for stepping in.

Anyway kanye had seizures through the night again, i don't think he was quite ready to go back to school and was still a little under the weather.

I felt like i had been hit by a truck, i felt ill all over. So Andre stayed home, did the school run and took care of me and kanye.

After i had a sleep in the morning i got up and Andre was changing the birds cage, hes a very tame adult male so we get him out and let him fly everyday. Today he flew around and landed on kanyes head, kanye lit up with happiness, the bird was quite content in all of kanyes fluffy hair probably looked like one big nest. He then shuffled down to kanyes shoulder and stayed there while kanye walked around looking at himself in the mirror. It definitely made him feel better!

Mar didn't have a very good day at school apparently lots of tears because he lost his daddy. Andre taking him to school took him out of routine and made it hard for him.

I emailed his teacher to ask what was up, she replied later on that he was just a bit upset today and she mentioned that the other day he went to the principals office to get an award for his story writing!!! Oooops on my part though, he had told me he went to the principals office but he wasn't able to communicate that he got an award so i told him off saying he needs to be good at school. When i asked him about it i said sorry and said i thought he was in trouble he replied 'i wasn't in trouble mama' !! Wish he had told me that from the beginning!
