Mace

He's finally here! We picked Mace up at the airport last night after his long day of flying. He was instantly the talk of the airport, and we were instantly in love with this face!

He seemed to be doing well, albeit tired on the way home - zonking out in my arms for the entire two hour trip. Once home, he did as we expected - sniffed out his new surroundings. His first night was peaceful, he seemed to enjoy the peace and stillness of his crate, sleeping straight through to 5:30.

The kids are doing well with him thus far... only a few arguments about who's turn it is to take him out. Other than that, we've all found enjoyment in watching him play with his toys, leap and bound across the floors, and snuggle with him (he's a great snuggler).

I will admit, it is exhausting having/training a new puppy. Exhaustion from the late night picking him up, coupled with an early morning wake-up and all day watching for his tell-tale signs that he needs to go out - we're tired! Hopefully tonight he'll sleep soundly again, and I'll be able to get some much needed rest.

For now, we're thrilled to have him home... Welcome to the family Mace.
