Parliamo Scots

Putting everything back in the cupboards before we left our holiday accommodation I was struck how the crockery had changed over the years. Previously we had (slightly small) mugs decorated with tartan.

In the past year or so they have been replaced with these more informative recepticles.

All good fun - but not sure it helps visitors to Scotland unless they happen to be over hearing: "I was scunnered and crabbit coz it was so dreich that I went for a blether with my pal who is a bit of a numpty."
