Onwards

For a woman with a 1/2 healed broken foot with a penchant for the outdoors, any excuse to get away is welcome.

And yes, look large and you will see fresh snow

I expect it will be gone by tomorrow afternoon but tonight will be chilly when we arrive at the wee hut in Cass (permanent population 1) where we'll spend the next 2 nights.

I note today is my 1900th blip too. Not an official blip date but still a milestone. Dad asked me about a copy of this photo during the week. I think it was about the 10th blip entry of my journal. That made any doubt about my daily blip dissolve. Memories like this are priceless.

And thus today will be another memory embedded on blip. Out chasing down county roads in fading light looking for a blip for hpx. Arriving at the Springfield pub where we expected to have a late dinner before heading up Porters Pass and through to Cass, only to find they'd lost power minutes earlier.

Instead a can of beans in front of the fire at Cass followed by a wee dram of whiskey.
