Tete-a-tete

All the times I’ve been to London over the years and I can’t think that I have ever been to the East End. Today we met daughter and son-in-law in Columbia Road Flower Market near Shoreditch, East London. A street lined with stalls filled with flowers and plants. A lot of shouting - Pitch Patter - and a huge crowd. This guy was doing a good trade selling his ‘tete-a-tete’, ‘So cheap you can give them to someone you don’t like!’ A true Cockney, I will leave you to imagine how he pronounced ‘tete-a-tete’.

Then we went for lunch at ‘Brawn’ - a great meal. They do take us to the most amazing places.
