Do I have to go?

He's got more fans than me, so he gets another mug shot.  It's been a long week for him and his owners are back today, so time to go home.  He seems to have enjoyed himself.  So for his fans out there who enjoyed his last appearance, make the most of him as we don't know when he'll be making another guest appearance.

"Big" meeting at the hospital this morning so up early and prepare properly.  Make sure I've got everything, check my notes etc.  Meet up for 10.35am departure and we arrive in plenty of time.  J has to do a little bit of "creative parking" otherwise we'd have been ages driving round and round looking for a space.  The rest of the team assemble soon after we arrive and soon the meeting begins.  Fortunately the discussions are constructive and there's a positive attitude and common approach.  Within the hour there's concensus and strategy outlined for the next steps.  Sigh of relief as we break and go our separate ways.

A quick detour to the chippy on the way home for Dad, "de-briefing" at his place and then back home to catch up with the rest of the world before sinking into the torpor that is emotional exhaustion on a Friday afternoon after a long week.

Doesn't last long, P and H arrive back from a trip to Bath, time to sit and listen to their stories over tea and bikkies.

Night out for a beer at the club with P, manage to find our membership cards and pay our dues.  Joined by D, J and K for an enjoyable evening with occasional hysteria and vulgar jokes, love it.
