Ice pattern

After it raining heavily when I went to bed last night I was a bit surprised to find my car was frozen solid this morning, even though there wasn't any frost on the grass or anything.

When I managed to crack open my car door, I thought that the ice on the windscreen might make a nice abstract picture. On looking at it on the monitor this evening, I thought that the linear patterns in the frost made it look a bit like looking down on a glacier.

Will try and catch up with comments soon, I'm a day behind as I had trouble getting on last night, perhaps all the other flashmob blippers were crashing blip with their uploads :0)
