Angels & Trees unfinished
I had such a fun messy day Wednesday when attended a Sue Roddis workshop @ Paddys Stamping Place.
Theme of workshop was Angels & Trees. Didn't quite know what to expect but it was paper enginering really, followed by using very pearly paints applied by fingers only, brill fun...
Decided to use colours don't like too much, brown, magenta, pale green. Also used colours i do like, dk blue, violet, black & a sparkly paint called Gallactica Steel Blue, the last colour is all sparkle.
Enjoyed hammering the thick florist wire to get it flat. Attached the hammered wire to the Angel & Tree shapes with very thin wire which was quite tricky, but i did it.
Have to find a face/head to complete the Angel & search for old large jewellery findings to complete the tree. To get the items to stand up place the twisted wire into an old cotton reel, which of course you decorate to match the colours of your trees etc...
This is quite a boring Blip if you don't like seeing crafting projects but am looking forward to completing them. Poss a future Blip, see if think they look ok...
I had fun except when glanced at my amazing labdorite ring & saw the stone was missing!!!!! Pleased though that when i was unpacking my craft bag there it was....have to take to a jeweller to get it fixed but soooo glad it was found :-)
