London getting a spring clean.....

This is the view from the top of mum and dads hill. The heavens keep opening and dumping more water on our sodden ground! Hope it looks sparkly and clean. I think Mother Nature has developed cleaning OCD! Lol

I spent today looking after my Dad. It's his turn to be poorly! He has put his knee, hip and back out poor sausage! It's hard seeing him like this. He is usually so active and strong. It's a stark reminder my Hero is not immortal! We have however, howled with laughter until our sides hurt and tears ran down our faces at the funny stories we have reminisced from times passed! It's been bitter sweet having him to myself for hours :) I hope he recovers quickly as he and mum are off on holiday to the sun in a few weeks!

The kids are kind of settling down and I've had quite a nice chat with he that is the teenager. He won an award today for excellence in English and I'm very proud of him :). We've talked about all sorts this evening from sex and what age is it normal to lose your virginity to not wanted to stay at his dads as often. I guess he and his friends have been talking about sex as he asked lots of questions! This was met with several snickers from the bf but I'm a pro! I was very grown up and answered his questions as best I could and didn't get embarrassed once! (Well I didn't show any embarrassment!!) I'm glad he feels he can talk to me about such things :) he was very sensible too and made sure the babies were out the way first although not much drying up got done!! Lol!

Today is also the day we are supposed to find out which senior school turtle bear got but there's been a glitch with the emails. So fingers crossed xx

Tomorrow is specialist consultant appt so hopefully have some positive news but if not I'm ready to deal with it! :) here's to everything crossed and PMA. Bring it on I'm ready for the fight! (Metaphorically speaking!)
