Pancakes.......

It's been a pretty busy day! Early start getting caught up on housework that was missed yesterday because I was looking after dad. Then off on the school run and straight to my hospital appt. mixed results there! More surgery scheduled and more than likely not the last as I had hoped!

On a brighter note, turtle bear got his first choice senior school. He also did his mock SATS and achieved a 5b in reading and maths! Clever little sausage! Onion managed a 4b in English and maths and she's only in year 4. He that is the teenager brought home his mid term report and is doing brilliantly too, achieving 6a in science, history and English and 5a in all other subjects bar one! So he is well on track for fantastic results at the end of his year! So proud of them all for working hard and achieving above the national average :)

We celebrated their successes with homemade burgers and masses of pancakes with an assortment of toppings! I'm the boring one, having just lemon and sugar on mine! :) but they all like syrups and fruits! Oh and chocolate spread! Yuck!! Lol

Wish my day was done already but there is lots still to do and the washing up hasn't even been started yet! *sigh. Best get cracking if I want to be in bed before midnight! Hope you all had a yummy pancake day :)
