Heading north ..

My sister came this morning to mum-sit, and I headed to Durham for a concert.

I had quite a lot of reading time in the rehearsal, so made a start of my friend's newly published book - The Little Red Thief .. about an orphaned fox she befriended ..

After the concert there was quite a long drive to my overnight lodgings - and we had comforting bowls of homemade soup before falling, exhausted into our respective beds ..
