Final Practice

The Annual International Schools concert organised by The Rotary Club of Strathaven took place tonight.

The evening of music showcases talent from five local schools and the money raised supports the work of Rotary, helping the needy in India and Africa where the focus is on providing clean water, sanitation and medication.

The evening concludes with The Rotary Choir who while having aspirations of greatness only ever get to play one gig a year. So tonight was the night and what a performance!

The picture was taken just at the start of a warm-up before going on stage. Everyone who takes part gets a kick out of it, and wither playing to few hundred or a few thousand produces an adrenalin rush that brings out the best, as happened tonight.
