Do I eat it?
Or do I give it to the birds, who are patiently waiting?
A bit of a grey day in Wellington, but we have not had the rain and winds that South Island experienced overnight and were forecast to head in this direction.
First stop this morning was at Mr Bun's for a fry-up breakfast and use of the free WiFi. We normally eat a healthy breakfast of porridge and fruit at the motel, so this “heart attack on a plate” was out of the norm.
The day was spent exploring the harbour front area, which was full of activity: kids canoeing, triathletes swimming, runners and fitness groups working out. It was a popular spot for people to eat in the open air. There were plenty of takers for any leftovers, but the birds didn't pester....they sat quietly and waited.
We then visited the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.
