the Bay

Waiheke Island, early morning with the sunshine shimmering on the bay did look so lovely.  

We are home now, it's been another big day.  We had to run like blazers to catch the ferry to Auckland this morning, just made it as they closed the gate after us.  Now that was cutting it a bit fine.... blame photography for that near miss!! :)

The flight back to Christchurch was ok, the weather in Christchurch was anything but OK.  Horrendous, vicious,  fierce are three words that come go mind. And, when we got to Timaru  late evening we were greeted with sunshine.

It was great to meet the lovely serpentine at last and to receive a hug from Freespiral curtesy of serpentine, thanks Amanda :)

Nice to be home again after a fabulous few days away. I am really tired and fighting a bit of a cold ... Maybe a good night sleep may help.
