Sundown at the Sun Inn

...which has to be the longest still standing pub in Eastwood. Even famous as being the 'moon and stars' pub in DH Lawrences, Sons and Lovers. looking at the image on the link below, its stood the test of time!

Gorgeous day today, nice frost, and perfect for a long walk up the Watnall Wood, with the new lens, taking lots of close ups.

Back home, bit of work and then on the hunt in the local charity shops for a silver coffee pot....

Even more adventures out later on, taking this pic. Saw an old school friend walking to the bus stop as i waited for the sunset, got mistaken for a speed camera by various folks, and then just as i was packing up, witnessed a road accident!

Back to mums just in time before the kitchen closed on Pancake Day!! she makes the best pancakes! i limited myself to 3! gorgeous
