Peacock hall, RVI

Visited HR department at the RVI hospital today ready for the first day of my new job tomorrow.
Human resources is in this lovely old building called Peacock Hall.

The Royal Victoria Infirmary was opened in 1906. A lot of the old RVI has been demolished as new modern, buildings replace it bit by bit. No doubt, these new buildings are far superior in providing a better environment for patients but it's still nice to see this old building amongst the others.

I found the old red brick building, white statue of Queen Victoria and pink trees a nice mix of colours for this photo. It was all so colourful that I didn't need to use a filter to make it stand out. These pink leaves trees are really nice and remind me of the Japanese cherry blossom
