Gull by the river

A couple of days ago I mentioned that sometimes my Blip just turns up out of the blue, and today was very much a 'right place, right time' kind of thing.

Went for a walk at lunch, as is becoming my habit in a bid to get a bit fitter, armed with my 650D and my new favourite lens, the Sigma 70-200mm 2.8. I spotted this gull on the edge of the river, quite content standing on a wall. This shot is where he got a bit nervous when some guy decided to get too close, and I managed to snap this just as the gull was swinging round to deter his new foe.
