Sri Lanka Boat Sunset

Yesterday at lunchtime I saw two women eating a burger and chips at the hotel beach bar. A gannet was waiting patiently by their table to be fed but they just ignored it. The waiter said they loved french fries. Going there for lunch today, I had hoped to get a blip foto of us feeding it, but it didn't re-appear!

A late afternoon stroll out of the hotel and avoiding "hangers-on", saw us walking back along the beach as the sun was setting.

Not long after taking the blip foto, the heavens opened and for the first time during our holiday it's like back home!

As I write this it's thunder and lightening!!!!
