Speckled Mayflower Blossom

‘Ne’er cast a clout till may be out’ certainly does not refer to mayflower blossom but to the month of May and standing in a bitter wind yesterday this was certainly true. However, this mayflower blossom was spotted on the edge of Picardy Place right next to one of the busiest junctions in Edinburgh, the roundabout at the top of Leith Walk. It will not therefore surprise you that the lovely blossoms were actually a little despoiled, speckled mayflower blossom so as to speak. I am afraid I did not feel like resorting to the clone brush to clean it up. See LARGE at your peril !
