My good friend Daria surprised me with this cute Russian doll today. Daria is in my Arabic class this term and from Moscow. She went home for a long weekend and brought this back with her for me. Very sweet. Its so cute and colorful!

Things have been busy and pretty normal. I have a little over a week left of Arabic for this term, level 2. Then I get about 5 days off (woo hoo, what will I possibly do with that spare time, 5 whole days)....and then back to Arabic class to start up Level 3. It us starting to feel like the process that will never end...but I guess thats what learning a language is about.

Took my examples folder to the, the bigger part of my project from work, to the printers yesterday. My boss and I decided instead of ordering all 10 now, we will order 1 now and check it out and then make changes. Its better process in the long run for sure, cause we just aren't 100% sure what we're going to get.

I was suppose to go to Azraq host community tomorrow, where a big portion of Syrian refugees are residing, but I had to turn down the opportunity. I hate to do it, but with Arabic almost in finals....I have final projects, teaching a chapter tot he class next week and my final test. Plus, I'm going on a trip this weekend with my friend Melissa, so I won;t be able to work this weekend. To much to do for now., but the Deputy Director mentioned getting me out to the field next week hopefully. It'll happen. Just have to be patient.
